About the Artist

Dennis Michael Giaimo, known artistically as Dennis Giaimo (G’OMO) and also as Mr. Gee of Gillette, NJ, began his songwriting journey at age 16. His first song, “Of You,” came to him almost spontaneously one night while strumming his guitar and watching the sky. Although music was always present, life—college, work, marriage, and family—took priority, and songwriting became a passion revisited later in life.

Much of Dennis’s early inspiration came from his brother, a gifted guitarist and front man for local bands in New Jersey and New York. Performing alongside him in a wedding band exposed Dennis to a wide variety of professional musicians and styles, experiences that helped shape his sound and confidence as a performer.

Over time, Dennis began to refine his songwriting, entering lyric contests and even earning an honorable mention for his reggae-inspired piece, “Me Moma Don’t Like What I Do.” His creative voice continued to evolve, leading him to pursue original projects and performances that reflected both his personal journey and his musical influences.

His newest release, “Love Was Born on Christmas Day,” blends classical music with rock elements, enriched by strings and a choir. Recorded at Sound On Sound Studios in Montclair, NJ, the song captures the warmth and meaning of the season. It will be available on all major platforms starting November 1, 2025, with an accompanying video featuring two sign language students adding an expressive visual dimensionArtistDetailsBiography.
